Following her tenure with CMX, Valeria McConnell (Valerie) formed her own company Val TV Network. Some of her most memorable interviews further validated VAL TV Network as a viable entertainment medium and led to her current associations with Sinclair Broadcast Network, BET, Viacom, HBO, Showtime, and other popular networks.

Valerie has acquired and maintained favorable relationships with popular Las Vegas Hotels such as MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Palms Hotel, Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas Hilton, The Luxor Hotel Casino, The Venetian, The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas and the M Hotel & Casino. MGM Grand, Caesars Palace and Mandalay Bay hosted and continue to host fight night events which were, and are locally and internationally televised events:

Ed and David collaborated with Valerie on a soundtrack for the “Egyptian Cowgirl”, a television adventure show written and directed by Valerie. The show was based on a mythical fictional superhero that was an Ancient Egypt Princess”. Valerie portrayed the princess hero. This marked her debut as a film director, producer and actress. Valerie continues to have aspirations to be in front of the camera as an actress.  She has appeared in a John Singleton short/video for “Michael Jackson entitled “Remember the Time ”.

Second to “Thriller”, “Remember the Time” was the highest rated Video which Highlighted Michael Jackson’s career, She played alongside Richard Pryor in Eddie Murphy’s “ Harlem Nights”, and was cast in a Principle role for the film “Vera’s Girl starring Red Fox, Richard Pryor and Jasmine Guy, and in the movie The American Dream as a Jackson family member. Valerie has a real love for acting, dancing, television production, modeling, music and art.

Lastly, in addition to her various tasks and assignments, she is a writer for several magazines: Elite Magazine, “Beverly Hills Review”, and Sgib Magazine”, and is a Contributing Writer to Hollywood Las Vegas Magazine and “Shonuff’ Times”, an online magazine.
